HeitechSoft — AI Business Solutions
AI Implementation and Digital Transformation
AI Discovery & RoadmapDecide where AI belongs in your business.
Start with your operations: the repeated work, the information your team handles, and the decisions holding a project back. We help assess the options and produce a practical roadmap for what to do first.
AI discovery and roadmap: CA$2,000–$4,000
Scope and price agreed before work begins.
The introductory call is free. Discovery and roadmap work is paid. Discovery includes a basic proof-of-concept app for at least one opportunity identified during the engagement. Production implementation is quoted separately.
Serving Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding communities.
A decision you can act on
Your quote defines the depth of each part within the agreed business area. We focus the work on the decision you need to make.
Understand the work
Map the agreed workflows with the people doing them. Identify repeated effort, delays, handoffs and the information a better process would need.
- Workflow and system review
- Current effort and friction
- Data and access requirements
Compare the options
Consider process changes, software you already own and AI. Separate what the evidence supports from what still needs testing.
- Costs and potential value
- Human review and risk
- Alternatives to a custom build
Choose what to do first
Rank the opportunities within your agreed scope by value, effort, readiness and risk, with the reasoning visible.
- Priorities and dependencies
- Reasons to proceed or defer
- Proposed success checks
Test an opportunity and leave with a plan
Get a written roadmap and a basic proof-of-concept app for at least one discovered opportunity, so you can examine how it could work before committing to production.
- Basic proof-of-concept app
- Written roadmap and review
- Planning estimates and open questions
Start with one business problem
Suppose your team reads incoming documents, extracts the same information and re-enters it in another system. The question is whether changing that workflow would recover enough time or reduce enough rework to justify the cost.
Discovery examines the volume, the time spent, the exceptions and the systems involved. We compare the options, including the review a person would still need to do. Estimates stay labelled as estimates until they can be tested.
Relevant AI delivery experience
In our published M&A advisory case, we describe a platform that combines document intake, buyer research and matching with explainable recommendations and human review. It is an example of the implementation work a roadmap can lead to; it does not establish the outcome of your discovery engagement.
Read the AI-assisted buyer research and deal execution case.
A roadmap that stands on its own
Your plan explains the recommended first step, its dependencies and what still needs to be learned. You can act on it with your own team or chosen supplier. When a build is justified, our AI implementation services can help carry it through. If the included basic app reveals questions that need deeper testing, a separately scoped proof of concept can extend that work.
Who this helps
Owners, partners and operational leaders who have a real business problem to examine and need a defensible next step.
You need a first AI investment you can explain
You own or lead a business with several possible AI projects. You need a practical way to decide which problem is worth addressing first, before committing to a build.
Documents and requests keep creating manual work
Your team repeatedly reads documents, searches for information or copies it between systems. You want to understand the effort involved and whether AI could help without losing human oversight.
Your AI trials have not become a working process
Tools have been tried, but the workflow, data or responsibilities are unclear. You need to work through the missing pieces and decide whether to continue, simplify or stop.
When another next step makes more sense
- If you already have a clear implementation specification, tell us. A separately scoped build or proof of concept may be the more useful next step.
- If you need a free tool demonstration or a guaranteed recommendation for a particular vendor, this paid discovery engagement will not meet that need.
- If the people or information needed for discovery are unavailable, we should resolve those access constraints before starting paid work.
From a conversation to a roadmap
Agree the paid scope before work begins, then choose any implementation work separately.

Agree the discovery scope
CA$2,000–$4,000Before work begins, we agree the business area and workflows to examine, deliverables, client access, timing and price. The quote defines what is included; the full range of possible discovery work is not included at every price.
- 3
Assess, build a basic proof of concept and review
Paid discoveryWe examine the agreed work, compare options, build a basic proof-of-concept app for at least one discovered opportunity and review the roadmap with you. The results help inform whether further development is worthwhile.

Choose the next step
Optional, quoted separatelyUse the roadmap with your own team, HeitechSoft or another supplier. Production implementation, further development beyond the included basic proof of concept, and ongoing support have their own scope and price.
Before you book
- What does AI Discovery & Roadmap cost?
- CA$2,000–$4,000, with the exact scope and price agreed before work begins. The quote sets out the workflows, access, deliverables, timing and terms. The introductory call is free; the discovery and roadmap work is paid.
- Does that price include building the solution?
- The price includes a written roadmap and a basic proof-of-concept app for at least one opportunity identified during discovery. Production implementation, further development, live system integrations and ongoing support are quoted separately.
- Do we have to know where AI fits already?
- No. Bring a real operational problem or decision, an accountable sponsor and access to the people who understand the work. Discovery helps establish where AI could be useful and where another approach may be better.
- How long does the engagement take?
- We agree timing in the quote after understanding the scope, your team's availability and the information needed. A broad company review and a focused workflow assessment require different effort; we do not promise one timetable for both.
- What if AI is not worth pursuing?
- We explain why and what should happen instead. That may be a process improvement, better use of an existing tool, work on data quality or a decision to defer. Discovery does not guarantee savings or a recommendation to build with AI.
- Who owns the roadmap?
- Your business does. It is a written document you can use with your own team or chosen supplier. You are not required to hire HeitechSoft for implementation.
